CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women’s tennis team takes on Kennesaw State on Friday at 3 p.m. at the Templeton Tennis Courts.

PC comes in to Friday with a 4-3 overall record, after a 4-3 at Western Carolina on Sunday. The Blue Hose took the doubles point and three singles matches en route to the one-point victory. Kennesaw State enters play Friday with a 1-6 record, coming off a 5-2 loss at Jacksonville State on Tuesday. The Blue Hose and the Owls last met in 2012, a 5-2 KSU victory in Clinton.

Beth Taylor will look to continue her strong play, after she improved to 7-0 in single on the season with a straight sets win at No. 3 against Western Carolina on Sunday. Caroline Ferrari has also put together a winning record in singles in the early going with a 4-2 mark through six matches. In doubles, Brittany Nuttall and Taylor has proved the most consistent pair so far with a 3-1 mark at No. 3.

Friday’s action will be PC’s last home match until March 13, as the Blue Hose go on the road for a three-match stretch. PC opens conference play against reigning league champion Winthrop on February 27, before a trip to Colorado for two matches March 3-4.
