HILTON HEAD, SC – The Presbyterian College men’s golf team ended the first day of the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate Golf Tournament in 18th place with a score of 616 (314, 302).

Josh Taylor shot 152 (82, 70) to lead the Blue Hose and tie for 55th. Brody Boston shot 155 (79, 76), Haydon Norwood shot 155 (73, 82), Harrison Fisher shot 160 (80, 80) and Carson Spears shot 162 (86, 76). Taylor’s second round of 70 (-2) and Norwood’s first round of 73 (+1) were collegiate bests.

Georgia has a one-stroke lead and sits in first place with a score of 567. Akron's Elliott Grayson is in first place at 136 (70, 66).



Francis Marion is hosting at the Wexford Plantation course, an Arnold Palmer signature course, which measures 6,913 yards and is a par-72 layout. Tuesday’s final round will begin with shotgun start at 8:15 a.m.
