Presbyterian College and head coach Thomas Addison announced the 2017-18 men's golf schedule on Thursday.  The team will compete in five fall tournaments and six spring tournaments.

The Blue Hose will open the season on September 9 at the GolfWeek Championship at the True Blood GC in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The team will then compete at the Hummingbird Intercollegiate on October 1-3 at the CC of Sapphire Valley in Sapphire, N.C. The fall will then end with familiar trips to the Elon Phoenix Invitational (Alamance CC) from October 15-17, the Palmetto Collegiate (Camden CC) from October 20-22, and the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate (Turtle Point GC) from October 28-31.

"We were pleased to add two great tournaments to our fall schedule this year," Addison said. "The team will be excited to start playing, and this year's schedule will be a fun one for them. We will be tested early and often as we prepare for the Big South Championship in April."

The spring begins with a trip to the Wexford Intercollegiate (Wexford Plantation) from February 25-27. Next, the Blue Hose will compete at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate (Palmetto GC) from March 4-6 and the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular (Mission Inn Resort) from March 16-18. The 49th Annual Furman Invitational (Furman GC) begins on March 22, and the 2018 Wofford Invitational (Spartanburg CC) starts on April 8.

The 2018 Big South Men's Golf Championship will once again be played at the Patriot GC in Greenwood, S.C. The three-round tournament will be contested from April 19-22.

The men's golf team added three freshmen and one transfer to a team returning three of its scoring four from last season.
