KIAWAH ISLAND, SC – The Presbyterian College women’s golf team carded their best round of the year, 292, and climbed 11 spots to finish the second day of the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Spring Classic tied for 17th with an aggregate of 599.

Maiken Bing Paulsen, currently tied for 22nd at 145 (75, 70), finished the day just three strokes from the top-10. Celia Mansour shot even par (72) to move into a 55th place tie with Serina Combs at 148. Combs recorded a collegiate-best round of 73 on Monday at the Osprey Point course (5,964 yards).



 Ann Elizabeth Gore sits tied for 171st at 161 (84, 77), Rylie Marchman is tied for 200th at 166 (81, 85), and newcomer Sydney Abruzzino is tied for 177th at 162 (79, 83).

The hosts from College of Charleston have an 11-stroke lead with a 36-hole score of 567. Jacksonville State’s Valentina Giraldo sits at -7 (137) to take a one-stroke lead into tomorrow’s final round.
