Down 24-22, Stewart came back again with her 11th kill of the match to cut the margin to one, 24-23. It was for naught as PC collected a service error to end the comeback, 25-23.
Early in the fourth set, Binghamton built an 8-4 lead, but it was PC with four unanswered, capped by blocks from Stewart and Sara Rogers, to tie it up at 8-8. It marked the first of seven ties as neither team could get a foothold in the set. Tied 21-21, Binghamton used back to back kills and a service ace to make it 24-21. Sierra Davis and Eulitz provided back to back kills for PC to cut the margin to 24-23, but it was the Bearcats at the end with a kill from Erin Shultz to hand PC the 25-23 fourth set and match loss.
