Pinehurst, N.C. – The Presbyterian College women’s golf team finished 17that the Pinehurst Challenge on Tuesday, shooting a combined 932 (314, 311, 307) at the par-72 No. 6 Course (6040 yards).

 

Sophomore Serina Combs (t21) shot a collegiate-best 224 (69, 78, 77) and began the tournament with her first collegiate round under par. Maiken Bing Paulsen (t31) shot 227 (78, 73, 76) and led the team with two eagles. Ann Elizabeth Gore (t60) shot 234 (80, 77, 77), Julie Hillestad (85th) recovered to shoot 247 (87, 83, 77) and Rylie Marchman (92nd) shot 256 (91, 85, 80)

 

North Florida won the team title with a combined score of 878. The Ospreys’ Sydney Shrader won individual medalist honors at 211 (69, 71, 71).

 

PC next hosts the 2018 Blue Hose Match Play at The Patriot Golf Club beginning on Sunday, October 14.
