Clinton, S.C. – A 10-0 run by Radford to begin the second quarter was enough for the Highlanders to separate from the Blue Hose en route to a 64-40 win in the Templeton Center on Saturday afternoon. Cortney Storey led the way with 15 points.

Storey finished with 15 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals. Kacie Hall joined her in double figures with 12 points.

The Highlanders finished the afternoon with a 40-8 advantage in points in the paint.

Game Story

PC jumped out to a fast start leading 5-4 in the first 1:32 of the game but Radford answered with an 8-0 run of the next five and a half minutes to lead 12-5. Presbyterian finished the quarter on 7-2 run to make it 14-12 Highlanders after one. Radford scored the first 10 points of the second quarter making it 24-12 before Storey made a lay-up. Briley Buckner followed with a three to pull the Blue Hose within seven at 24-17 but Radford ended the half on a 4-0 run making it 28-17.

Hall started the second half off with a three-ball making 28-20 but Radford answered with a lay-up making it a 10-point game again. The Blue Hose never got within 10 points again but that did not stop their effort as they finished the game on a 9-4 run.

For the Record

The Blue Hose move to 10-17, and 7-9 in the Big South while Radford moves to 20-7, and 13-3 in the Big South.

Game Notes

PC finished with 13 steals, tied for its third most in a game this season.

Presbyterian made nine three-pointers to match its season average.

Storey finished with 15 points, giving her 20 games this season in double figures and 14 now in which she has scored 15 or more.

Hall tied her career and season high with four steals. This is the third time this season and fourth time in her career.

Janie Miles set a season high with three steals.
