BURLINGTON, NC – The Presbyterian College men’s golf team combined to shoot 592 (302, 290) at the Phoenix Invitational on Monday at the Alamance Country Club (par-71, 6,867 yards).

Josh Taylor shot 144 (73, 71) to tie for 29th and lead PC on the day. The freshman's second round of even par (71) was a collegiate best. Ben Pirro shot 146 (75, 71) to tie for 41st, and he also tied his collegiate best with a second round of even par. Cole Patterson shot 150 (75, 75) to tie for 65th. Carson Spears shot 152 (79, 73) to tie for 78th, and Harrison Fisher shot 163 (81, 82) to finish the day in 95th.

Elon sits in first place with a combined score of 558 (284, 274). George Washington’s Adrian Castagnola has a five-stroke lead at 135 (65, 70).
