Radford, Va. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose (3-11-0, 1-6-0) women’s soccer team fell at Radford (9-6-0, 2-5-0) by a 2-0 score on Saturday night.

How it happened:

The Blue Hose would jump out to an aggressive start on Saturday night as they took four shots (three on goal) and three corner kicks in the opening 10 minutes. Katie McCormick, the Highlanders goal keeper, would record three saves to keep the Blue Hose off the board.

At the 12:36 mark Radford took their first shot and scored the first goal.

The Blue Hose had another great chance at a goal 30 minutes in as Kelsey Yeager and Samantha Fink both took shots back to back that were blocked and Frances Whitesides took a corner kick that PC was unable to do anything with.

At the 60:26 mark Radford was able to tack on a security goal to go up 2-0.

The Blue Hose took five more shots and had two more corner kick opportunities down the stretch but could not convert on any of them.

Game Notes:

- The Blue Hose streak of four straight games decided by one goal came to an end at four.

- The Blue Hose took a season high nine corner kicks and had a 9-6 advantage in corner kicks.

- The Blue Hose finished with more shots than the opposition for the first time as they outshot Radford 16-13.

- Eight of the 16 shots by PC were on goal.
