Norcross, Ga. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose women's soccer team was defeated by the Georgia State Panthers by a 3-1 score on Saturday afternoon Norcross, Georgia.

Georgia State jumped out to an early lead in the fourth minute. PC had several chances over the next few minutes but the Panthers kept the Blue Hose off the board.

The Blue Hose were able to get on the board in the 38th minute to tie the game at 1-1. The half came to an end with the score 1-1. Both teams had chances early in the second half but were unable to take advantage.

Georgia State got back on the board in the 62nd minute and then again in the 66th minute to pull away from the Blue Hose.

Overall GSU outshot PC by a 12-9 margin and had more shots on goal at 6-5.

The Blue Hose are back in action on Tuesday versus Spartanburg Methodist at 7 p.m.
