CLINTON, S.C. – Coming off a 3-0 week, the Presbyterian College men’s tennis team will look to keep its hot streak going as it travels to Furman on Wednesday for a 3 p.m. match in Greenville, S.C. The Blue Hose enter the match with a 3-4 record overall, while the Paladins are currently 2-1 on the season.
PC went 3-0 in action last week with wins over USC Upstate (4-3), Appalachian State (4-3) and Lee University (6-1). It was the first 3-0 week for the Blue Hose since last season when PC swept a doubleheader against Alabama State and Alabama A&M, before defeating Jacksonville State the following day.
Jaime Castillo-Lopez, Brandon Mills and Daniel Stenger each went 3-0 in singles action last week, while Alejandro Bejar was 2-0 in lone action. The No. 1 doubles pair of Alexander Lykou and Brandon Mills went 2-1 across the three matches to lead the way.
