 Flo Liu

Flo Liu is entering his third season with the Presbyterian College men's soccer team in the 2018 season.

An integral part of the team's recruiting efforts, Liu was instrumental in the formation of Head Coach Jonathan Potter's first recruiting class in 2016 which provided the Blue Hose with five new starters, including Freshman All-Conference member Sergio Pinto. In addition, Liu also helped develop Mason Lewis, Cade Crow and Connor Behrend into All-Conference honorees, which marked most All-Conference Selections in program history.

Involved in all aspects of the program, Liu supervised player academics as well as community service. The Blue Hose received the NSCAA Academic Team Award for exemplary performance in the classroom and are heavily involved within the community for local soccer clinics and volunteer efforts with Special Olympics and the Thornwell Orphanage Home.

Liu, a nationally licensed coach through United States Soccer Federation (USSF), came to Presbyterian College after two seasons with Temple University. Liu assisted in student-athlete development, recruiting, video analysis, daily practices, scouting, social media, marketing, alumni relations and camps. Liu helped developing 7 all-conference and 2 all-region players, including MLS draft Jorge Gomez-Sanchez, and Carlos Moros Gracia, who signed with Swedish 1st Division team GIF Sundsvall.  During his time, Temple had one of the best turnarounds in the country in 2015 (8 more wins than previous season) and school's highest NSCAA ranking (#17) in 30 years.

A native of Richmond, British Columbia, Liu was a standout at University of Connecticut where he helped UConn to two NCAA Elite Eight appearances in 2011 and 2012, he was part of a defense that set a school record with 16 shutouts in 2011. Liu played every minute in Big East play on route to conference championship in 2012 while contributing game winning goal against No.8 Notre Dame and game winning assist against No.3 Georgetown.
