Kiawah Island, S.C. – Ben Pirro remains in the top-10 at the East Bay Deli Classic after shooting even-par 144 (68, 76) through the first two rounds at the Turtle Point Golf Course. The Presbyterian College men’s golf team moved to 12th place with a two-day score of 600 (299, 301).

 

Pirro opened the tournament with a collegiate-best round of 68 (-4) on Sunday and was two strokes off the lead. His second round of 76 moved him back into a tie for ninth and five strokes off the lead.

 

Charlie Tate (t39) sits at 150 (74, 76), AJ Nolin (t63) at 153 (79, 74), Cole Patterson (t66) at 155 (80, 75) and Weston Sanders (t87) fell to 156 (76, 80).

 

College of Charleston leads the 21-field tournament after combining to shoot 577 (285, 292). Memphis’ Isaiah Jackson and the Cougars’ Logan Sowell are tied for first at 139 (-5).
