CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Presbyterian College sophomore forward Morgan Hutchison (Athens, Tenn.) has been named Big South Women’s Soccer Attacking Player of the Week for her stellar play from Sept. 3-9, it was announced today by the conference office.

Hutchison recorded three goals, including the game-winners in both of Presbyterian’s two road victories last week. The striker opened the week with a brace, headlined by a 23rd minute tally to open scoring in the Blue Hose’s 4-0 blanking of South Carolina State on Wednesday. She followed the performance with an early second-half goal to hand PC a 2-0 lead in the 56th minute against Wofford on Sunday. The Blue Hose went on to win, 3-1.

This is the third consecutive week PC has earned the award with senior defender Kelsey Yeager earning it the two previous weeks.
