After 12 matches on the road to open the 2017 season, the Presbyterian College volleyball team comes to Clinton to the Templeton Center Tuesday, Sept. 19, to host Charleston Southern in the home and Big South Conference opener at 7 p.m. The match will be broadcast live on the Big South network at www.BigSouthSports.com.
PC is 3-9 overall after a tough non-conference slate that saw the Blue Hose take part in four road tournaments. PC is led by Erin Eulitz, who is averaging2.66 kills per set. Freshman Allie Wright has started strong, leading the team in attack percentage with her .238. Her .61 blocks per set is also tops, while her 2.64 kills per set is second on the team. Pacing the team in digs is libero Daley Gosnell with her 204 in 12 matches, with Megan Jones leading the way in service aces with .53. Sharing setter duties is Jaclyn Brewington and Sierra Jones with 5.68 and 3,75 assists per set, respectively.
The Bucs are 5-9 and are coming off a 3-2 win at The Citadel Saturday, Sept. 16. Hannah Western leads the team on offense with 2.58 kills per set and 142 total kills.
The Blue Hose return to the road with a Sept. 23 trek to Liberty, with the match starting at 2 p.m., and being televised on the BSN.
