CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College and head coach Thomas Addison released the 2019-20 men’s golf schedule on Wednesday. Addison’s squad will compete in five fall tournaments and five spring tournaments.

“We’re very excited about the 2019-20 season,” said coach Addison. “Our schedule should look very familiar to fans, with only a few changes. We will be playing fantastic courses all around the Southeast, with very competitive fields at each event.”

PC opens the season Sept. 8-10 at the Golfweek Championship at Caledonia GC in Myrtle Beach, S.C. From Sept. 23-24, the Blue Hose are set to compete in the River Run Collegiate Tournament, hosted at River Run CC by Davidson. PC last played at River Run CC during the 2014-15 campaign.

“We’re looking forward to once again playing in the River Run Collegiate, as well as trying our talent on a new course at The Golfweek Championship, which is at Caledonia this year,” said coach Addison. “Following those two events, our home tournament at Musgrove Mill Golf Club will be an eight-team match play event that begins with the Tommy Addison Memorial College-Am on October 6 for alumni and friends.”

This is the second straight year PC is hosting the Musgrove Mill Intercollegiate Tournament at Musgrove Mill GC in Clinton. The 54-hole event is set for Oct. 7-8.

From Oct. 14-15, PC heads to the Elon Phoenix Invitational at Alamance CC in Burlington, N.C., for the fifth straight year. The Blue Hose conclude their fall slate with a trip to Kiawah Island, S.C., to compete in the East Bay Deli Classic, hosted by Charleston Southern, from Nov. 3-5.

The spring scheduled is loaded with tournaments PC has been playing in for more than a decade, all of which are in South Carolina. The spring slate opens with the Wexford Invitational, hosted by Francis Marion, on Hilton Head Island from Feb. 24-25. Next, the Blue Hose compete in the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Invitational, hosted by USC Aiken, from March 9-10.

PC heads to Greenville to play in the Furman Invitational from March 27-29, and then to Spartanburg to take part in the Wofford Invitational from April 6-7.

For the 12th straight year, the Big South Championship will be contested at The Patriot GC in Ninety Six, S.C. The event will take place from April 20-22, and features three rounds of stroke play, followed by match play between the final four squads to determine the conference champion.
