Aiken, S.C. – Presbyterian College men’s golfer AJ Nolin tied for 15th at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate on Tuesday with a score of 214 (+4). The Blue Hose also finished 15th with a team score of 892 (301, 285, 306) at the par-70 Palmetto Golf Club course (6617 yards).

Nolin led PC for the first time this spring with a score of 214 (77, 64, 73). His second round of 64 (-6) was a two-stroke improvement for the junior from his previous best 67 (-4) recorded in the fall at the Elon Phoenix Invitational (par-71).

Charlie Tate tied for 39th with a score of 220 (69, 74, 77). Cole Patterson shot 227 (79, 72, 76) to tie for 67th, Brody Boston shot 232 (76, 76, 80) for 78th and Weston Sanders shot 235 (80, 75, 80) to tie for 83rd and round out the team.

South Carolina’s Will Miles won medalist honors with a score of 197 (-13) and led the Gamecocks to the team title (813) in the field of 18 teams.

Presbyterian College travels to the 50th Annual Furman Invitational next from March 21-24.
