Clinton, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women’s tennis team defeated Lee on Saturday morning, 5-2.


The Blue Hose took the doubles point by winning the number one and number three matches. Beth Taylor and Katie Thompson swept the match on the third court, earning a 6-0 victory. Sydney Patton and Jessica Leeman took home a 6-2 victory at number one to clinch the doubles point.


Tracy Johnson finished her singles match first for the Blue Hose on court number two, winning 6-0, 6-1. Patton was next to win for PC, earning a 6-3, 6-3 victory in the number one spot. Shelly Ray picked up a 6-4, 6-4 win on court six and sealed the match victory for the Blue Hose. Samantha Calais earned a 6-2, 7-5 win to finish the match. Full results can be found below:
