CLINTON, S.C. – The Blue Hose jumped out to a fast start and never looked back on Saturday afternoon en route to an 87-44 victory over Trinity inside the Templeton Center. Presbyterian was led by Adam Flagler with 13 points as 13 different Blue Hose scored in the contest.

Scoring the Game
The Blue Hose got off to a 19-3 lead in the first seven minutes behind a pair of three pointers by Francois Lewis and Adam Flagler. Trinity cut it to a 10, 19-9 with 11:32 to go in the first half before a 9-1 PC burst opened it back up to a 28-10 lead. Presbyterian pushed it to a 20 point advantage at 33-13 with 5:14 to go in the half on a Cory Hightower layup. PC closed the half on a 15-6 run highlighted by a pair of threes by Ethan Kay to take a 48-19 lead to the break.

Presbyterian opened the second half on a 17-7 run to take a 64-25 lead. The Blue Hose maintained took a game-high 47-point advantage off of a 6-0 run that was started by Tristan Becker burying a three with 5:44 to go in the game and helped lead PC to an 87-44 victory.

Players of the Game
Flagler led the offense with 13 points going 5-for-7 from the floor, while also adding three from beyond the arc to his stat line. Ethan Kay added 11 points making three triples in the game, while Chris Martin recorded his first double-double of the season with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Chris Martin led the way with 12 rebounds. Davon Bell had a team-high four assists. Marquis Duncanson led the way for Trinity with eight points to go along with a pair of assists and steals.

Stats of the Game
Presbyterian used the three point shot to its advantage connecting on 14 threes including nine in the opening half. PC shot 47.5% from the floor, while holding Trinity to just 26.4% including 22.2% in the first half. The Blue Hose dominated the boards grabbing a season-high 54 rebounds including a season-high 16 on the offensive glass.
