Kiawah Island, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men’s golf team combined to shoot 895 (299, 301, 295) and finish 11th at the East Bay Deli Classic held at the Turtle Point Golf Course (par 72, 6911 yards).

Freshman Charlie Tate (t31) shot a consistent 223 (74, 76, 73) to lead the Blue Hose for the second consecutive tournament. Ben Pirro (t35) began the tournament with a collegiate-best round of 68 (-4) and finished at 224 (68, 76, 80). Weston Sanders (t64) carded PC’s lowest round on Tuesday (-1) to move to 229 (78, 80, 71). Cole Patterson also tied for 64th at 229 (80, 75, 74), while AJ Nolin (t72) shot 230 (79, 74, 77).

College of Charleston won the 21-field tournament with a team score of 861 (285, 292, 284). The Cougars’ Christian Balker and Memphis’ Isaiah Jackson shared medalist honors at 209 (-7).

This was the final fall tournament for PC.
