Spartanburg, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women’s golf team finished 9th at the Terrier Intercollegiate with a team score of 630 (317, 313) contested at the par-72 Country Club of Spartanburg (6012 yards).

 

Maiken Bing Paulsen tied for 6th with a two-day score of 151 (76, 75). It was her second top-10 finish of the fall and the program-best 10th of her career.

 

Julie Hillestad shot 153 (76, 77) to tie for 13th and earn her first collegiate top-20 finish. Ann Elizabeth Gore shot 158 (79, 79) to tie for 34th, Serina Combs tied for 70th at 168 (86, 82) and Rylie Marchman tied for 77th at 173 (87, 86). Playing as individuals, Taylor Gardner (t73) shot 170 (83, 87) and Caroline Martin (t82) shot 176 (92, 84).

  

High Point won the team title with a score of 610. Winthrop and USC Upstate (612) tied for second, Georgia Southern (613) finished fourth and Samford (614) rounded out the top five teams of a 16-team field. Wofford’s Becca Earl won medalist honors at 144 (71, 73).
