Clinton, S.C. - The Presbyterian College men's and women's cross country teams will race at the Vertcross Invite on Friday afternoon. The race will be hosted by High Point and take place at the Ivey M. Redmond Sports Complex in Kernersville, N.C.

This will be the third race in three weekends for the women's team. Last weekend, the Blue Hose were led by senior Sally Hart, who finished 5th overall at the Winthrop Adidas Invitational.

The men's team will race for the first time since the Queen City Invite on September 28. Freshman Zack Kochert led the way for PC in the race, running his 8k in 27:32.

Other teams that are also expected to compete include Appalachian State, Campbell, Charleston Southern, Coastal Carolina, Longwood, Marshall, North Carolina A&T, and Radford. The women's 5k is set to begin at 4:00 p.m. and the men's 8k is slated for 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
