Chelsey Meyers joins Presbyterian College as an assistant athletic trainer. She will assist with the football team in the fall and will be the primary athletic trainer for the men’s and women’s wrestling program.
Prior to coming to PC in July of 2018, Meyers served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Ohio University. During her stint with the Bobcats, she worked with the wrestling, volleyball, and field hockey teams, while also serving as a preceptor and teaching assistant for the Ohio University undergraduate athletic training program. She earned a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from Ohio in May 2018.
Meyers a native of Johnstown, Pennsylvania received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from California University of Pennsylvania in May 2016. While serving as a student athletic trainer with the Cal Vulcans, Chelsey worked with the men’s basketball and softball teams. She also served an off-campus rotation with the football program at Washington & Jefferson College.
Chelsey earned her national certification as an athletic trainer in 2016 and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the South Carolina Athletic Trainers' Association.
