Tamyn Garrick is in his first season back with the Blue Hose. Garrick will be in charge of the QB's during his return to PC.
In 2018, Garrick led the quarterbacks to a 59.4 completion percentage led by John Walker’s 60.7 which led the Big South and was 28th nationally. Walker was also ranked third in the league in passing efficiency. Walker finished the year 136-of-224 for 1312 yards and 10 touchdowns while freshman Jordan Morgan added a pair of passing and three rushing touchdowns to the quarterbacks.
Garrick comes to PC from The Citadel, where he spent the last two seasons in charge of quality control for the offense.
Garrick is a former quarterback at Presbyterian and was voted a team captain as a senior. He appeared in 19 games with 10 starts and finished his career 133-of-277 passing for 1,355 yards and five touchdowns. Off the field, he was a member of Presbyterian’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and represented PC at the 2014 Big South SAAC Leadership Conference.
Garrick finished PC sixth in the PC Division I era career record books in pass attempts (138), pass completions (70), passing yards (778) and pass TDs (2), average yards per completion (11.1), passing yards per game (77.8) and was ninth in total offensive yards (745).
After graduating in 2015 with a degree in Mathematics, he was an assistant football and baseball coach and taught math at Barnwell High School.
