Spartanburg, S.C. – The Presbyterian College baseball team fell to USC Upstate, 10-3, on Tuesday at Harley Park. The game was delayed 50 minutes due to a rainstorm. The Blue Hose fall to 5-17 on the year, while the Spartans improve to 11-9-1.
How It Happened
USC Upstate struck early and often, building a 10-0 lead over the first five innings on two triples, one double, and nine singles.
The Blue Hose used six pitchers in total, with Jackson Dean coming on in the second inning and facing the most batters. Dean went 2.2 innings and struck out a collegiate-best seven batters. Reagan Fowler, Austin Paradis, and Hedrick combined to concede zero hits and strike out five batters over the last three innings.

Chase Blueberg (0-1) took the loss for PC after giving up three runs on two hits and three walks over 1.1 innings of work.
Jacob Thiesseen (1-3) picked up the win for Upstate after 5.0 innings of work and giving up three runs on six hits.
PC Player of the Game
AJ Priaulx went 4-for-4 with two singles, two doubles, and a run scored. The senior outfielder now has 10 doubles on the year and 41 hits.
PC will return home to host Charleston Southern for a three-game, Big South series beginning on Friday at 3 p.m.
