KIAWAH ISLAND, SC – The Presbyterian College women’s golf team finished 27th at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Spring Classic with a score of 924 (307, 292, 325) on Tuesday. Celia Mansour and Maiken Bing Paulsen tied for 58th to lead the Blue Hose at the nation's largest invitational.
Mansour and Paulsen shot 227 on the par-72, 5,964-yard Osprey Point course. Serina Combs tied for 102nd with a score of 232 (75, 73, 84). Her second round of 73 (+1) marked a collegiate best. Ann Elizabeth Gore and Rylie Marchman tied for 182nd with scores of 246. Newcomer Sydney Abruzzino shot 244 (79, 83, 82), playing as an individual, to tie for 174th.
The hosts from College of Charleston won the team title with a score of 872. Murray State's Lucila Puente Rodriguez, UNC Wilmington's Liberty Anderson and Jacksonville State's Valentina Giraldo tied for medalist honors at 211 (-5).
