After earning two wins this past week in dramatic fashion the Presbyterian College men’s basketball team was honored Tuesday afternoon by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) as the NCAA Division I Team of the Week.  PC is coming off wins over UNCG and North Carolina A&T to earn the inaugural NABC weekly honor.

PC collected a pair of wins in thrilling fashion last week. Tuesday, Nov. 28, JC Younger (Mandeville, La) hit a fade-away jumper as time expired to give the Blue Hose a 74-72 victory over UNCG. The following Saturday, Dec. 2, PC again hit on a last-second shot to take down North Carolina A&T, 73-70. This time it was a three-pointer from Davon Bell (Charlotte, N.C.) with 0.4 seconds remaining to break the late deadlock.

The Blue Hose are currently riding a three-game winning streak and will test their 3-0 home mark with a 7 p.m., contest Tuesday, Dec. 5, against South Carolina State.
