KIAWAH ISLAND, SC – The Presbyterian College men’s golf team is in 13th place at the East Bay Deli Classic after an opening round of 330. Charleston Southern is hosting the three-day, 54-hole tournament at the Kiawah Island Resort on the Turtle Point course (par-72, 6,911 yards).
Ben Pirro (t29) shot 79 to lead the Blue Hose on Sunday. Brody Boston (t34) was one stroke back with a round of 80. Carson Spears, Haydon Norwood, Cole Patterson, and Josh Taylor are all competing for PC as well.
Tennessee is in first place with a combined score of 298. Charleston Southern’s Art Griffin and Rutger’s Adam Gray are tied for first at even par (72).
Teams will begin teeing off hole No. 1 at 8:00 am on Monday morning. The final round will be a shotgun start on Tuesday beginning at 9:00 am. Teams can follow along via GolfStat’s live scoring feature.
