Matthew Drescher joins Presbyterian College as an Intern Athletic Trainer. He will assist with the football team in the fall and be the primary athletic trainer for the Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams as well as Cheerleading.
Drescher received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Winthrop University in May 2017. While serving as a student athletic trainer at Winthrop, Matt worked with the men’s soccer, volleyball, baseball, and men’s and women’s track and Field programs, as well as, off campus rotations at South Pointe High School, Clover High School, Piedmont Express Care and Piedmont EMS.
Matt earned his national certification as an athletic trainer in 2017 and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the South Carolina Athletic Trainers' Association. Matt has also been a certified EMT since July 2016 and volunteers during his free time.
