The Presbyterian College softball team, originally scheduled to host Radford Saturday and Sunday, April 22-23, will now face the Highlanders Friday (April 21) at 4 p.m., and Saturday (April 22) at 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. The change was made due to rain forecast in the Clinton area Sunday.

Radford is 23-20 overall and 4-8 in the Big South, and is coming off a non-conference 8-0 win over Virginia Tech this past Wednesday. The Highlanders are led by Hunter Mundy on offense with her .344 batting average, 42 hits, 29 RBI, and 70 total bases. In the circle it’s Kayla Huffman who has a 3.04 ERA in 92.0 innings of work. She has 100 strikeouts as well.

The Blue Hose are 16-28 overall and 5-10 in the league heading into the three-game series with Radford. Two Blue Hose are hitting about .300 with Hope Rogers at .328 and Rebekka Gross at .309. Rogers is tops on the team in hits (44), RBI (67), and total bases (67). Alex Cook leads the team in the circle with her 2.83 ERA, five save and 61 strikeouts.

The Blue Hose are next in action at UNC Greensboro April 26, with the doubleheader starting at 3 p.m.
