How It Happened
The Citadel high-powered offense led to several 10-point leads in the first half but PC kept chipping away, cutting the lead to three, 31-34, with 6:36 to go in the first and to two, 36-38, 4:35 left. A Reggie Dillard three-pointer at 3:46 even gave the visitors the 39-38 lead, 4:18 on the clock. That would be the last points for PC in the half as the Bulldogs ended the first on a 12-0 run to head to the locker room with the 50-39 lead.

The Blue Hose were able to make it a seven-point game several times throughout the first 10 minutes of the second half, including 61-68, off a Dillard lay-up with 11:56 remaining.
