BOONE, N.C. – The Presbyterian College men’s soccer saw their unbeaten streak come to an end as they fell to Radford 1-0 in overtime on the road on Saturday evening.

How it Happened

PC’s best scoring opportunity in the first half came in the 41st minute when Cade Crow’s shot rang off of the post. Both teams were scoreless in the opening half, with The Blue Hose outshooting Radford 3-2. The second half proved to be much of the same as the first half as neither team scored. Radford ended the game in the third minute of overtime on a goal that went into the left side of the net.

Stat of the Game

Tonight’s game marked the sixth time PC has taken a game to overtime. The Blue Hose are now 2-3-1 in overtime games this year.

Record

PC falls to 4-7-1 overall, and 2-1-0 in the Big South, while Radford improves to 9-2-0 overall and 3-0-0 in conference play.
