BOONE, N.C. – The Presbyterian College men’s soccer played Appalachian State to a 0-0 draw on Tuesday evening in Boone, North Carolina.

How it Happened

The first half was a defensive battle for the two squads as the teams combined for five total shots over the first 45 minutes. PC goalkeeper Connor Behrend made a great save to keep the game tied after an App. State corner kick in the 75th minute. Neither team was able to score over the first 90 minutes, sending the game to overtime. Both teams recorded one shot in the two overtimes, playing to a 0-0 tie. App. State outshot PC 9-6 over the 110 minutes of action.

Stat of the Game

The Blue Hose are now unbeaten in four-straight games for the first time since moving to DI, and for the first time since 2006 when they went 4-0-1 to start the season.


PC moves to 4-6-1 overall, while Appalachian State moves to 3-5-2 overall.
