CLINTON, S.C. – Wofford used three-straight goals to down the Presbyterian College men’s soccer team 3-2 in double-overtime Friday night at Martin Stadium.

How it Happened

PC jumped out to a two goal lead on goals from Sergio Pinto in the 53rd minute, and Cade Crow in the 56th minute. Wofford got on the board three minutes later on a penalty kick, cutting the deficit to 2-1. In the 77th minute, Wofford scored again to tie the game at 2-2. The Terriers ended the game in the 102nd minute of action on a close range goal.

Man of the Match

Freshman Sergio Pinto tallied three points while collecting the first colligate goal and assist of his career in tonight’s game. His goal was the first goal of the season for the Blue Hose.

Stat of the Game

Senior Cade Crow led the team in shots with five, and shots of goal with three, to go along with his goal.


PC falls to 0-1-0, while Wofford moves to 1-0-0.

The Blue Hose will travel to Spartanburg to face USC Upstate at 7:00 p.m., in the first road game of the year.
