CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College athletic department along with head golf coaches Thomas Addison and Kasay Holbrook announced their schedules for the fall of 2016 on Thursday.
The men’s golf team will open the season at the 2016 Bridgestone Match Play from September 18-20 in Braselton, Ga. The two-day tournament, hosted by USC Upstate, will feature 36 holes on the first day and conclude with a 18-hole round on day two.
The Blue Hose will then travel to three familiar tournaments beginning with the Elon Phoenix Invitational, played at the Alamance CC in Burlington, N.C., beginning on October 16. Next PC will play at the Palmetto Collegiate at the Camden CC from October 21-23 before ending their fall at the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate, at the Turtle Point GC, from October 29 until November 1.
The women’s golf team will travel to six tournaments, starting with the 2016 CSU Invitational at the Rivertowne CC on September 12. Then, on September 26, PC will compete at the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate at the Greenville CC in Greenville, N.C.
October will then see the Blue Hose competing in three tournaments, starting with the Terrier Intercollegiate (CC of Spartanburg) on October 10, then the 2016 Bill Berg Invitational (The Ridges GC) on October 16 and finally the Winthrop Women’s Fall Invitational (Rock Hill CC) on October 22.
The women will end their fall season by attending the first Big South Preview tournament, hosted by Radford, at The Patriot GC on November 5.
