CAMDEN, SC – Presbyterian College’s Davis Parker earned his third top-10 finish of the season at the Camden Collegiate Invitational on Sunday, leading the Blue Hose to 8th place at the Camden Country Club.

Parker (Augusta, Ga) shot 215 (70, 72, 73) on the par-70 course and finished ten strokes behind the individual medalist, Keenan Huskey from South Carolina, who shot 205 (-5). As a team, PC finished 8th of 11 teams at 881 (300, 292, 289).

Also competing for PC, Hayden Ploeger (Aiken, SC) shot 219 (75, 73, 71), Cole Patterson (Travelers Rest, SC) 221 (78, 72, 71), Weston Sanders (Greenwood, SC) 227 (77, 75, 74) and Park Brady (Saint Simons Island, Ga) 236 (79, 75, 82).

Playing as individuals, James Scott (Atlanta, Ga) shot 225 (76, 75, 74) and Will Strickland (Greenville, SC) shot 251 (87, 77, 87).

The University of South Carolina had the top two golfers and won the team title by 25 strokes with a low score of 838.

The Blue Hose will return to play in their last fall tournament at the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate at the Turtle Point GC from October 31-November 3.
