2015: Played in 19 games, starting eight at catcher … Made his first collegiate appearance against Delaware State (2/13) and his first start against Delaware State (2/14) … Went 3-for-4 with two RBI at Savannah State (4/8) … Picked up an RBI against UNC Asheville (4/11) … Hit safely in three straight Big South games against UNC Asheville (4/11-12) and High Point (4/17) … Did not commit an error … Posted a .333 on-base percentage …. Caught two runners stealing … Tallied a season-high 13 putouts against Delaware State (2/15) with two assists.

Before PC: A 2014 Southeast Region Honorable Mention ... Earned All-Region honors playing catching at Lanier High School in Sugar Hill, Ga. ... As a junior, ranked in the top 500 players in the country, the 99th-ranked catcher in high school and the 72nd-ranked overall prospect in Georgia by Perfect Game ... Earned Lanier’s Offensive Player of the Year award for three consecutive years, as well as the school’s Most Valuable Player laurels for two years ...
