RELATED LINKS

The Presbyterian College football team will look to win two in a row for the first time since the end of the 2011 season when the Blue Hose host Point in a 2 p.m., contest Saturday, Oct. 26.  The game will be broadcast live over the Big South Network at BigSouthSports.com and over the air on WKRI i91.9-FM.

The Blue Hose (2-4) step out of the NCAA to take on the Point University Skyhawks (3-4) of the NAIA.  Point marks just the second NAIA opponent PC has faced since making the move to NCAA Division I in 2007.  The other was Pikeville in 2007.  The Blue Hose earned the 58-7 win in that contest.  Since moving from NAIA to Division II in the late 1980s, PC has faced a total of four NAIA schools and hold a 4-0 record.

PC is coming off an impressive 49-35 win over VMI in the Big South opener last week.  This week’s contest is homecoming for the Blue Hose, with several events scheduled around the game.
