CLINTON, S.C. - The Presbyterian College men's golf team will travel to the 8th Annual Wexford Intercollegiate from Feb. 17-19. Francis Marion hosts the event at the Wexford Golf Club in Hilton Head, S.C. on a course that measures 6,828 yards and is a par-72.

Last year the Blue Hose finished fifth with a three-round score of 909 (309, 297, 303). Samuel Jackson (Pelion, S.C.) shot 230 (80, 72, 78) and finished tied for 28th.  Competing in this year's tournament alongside Jackson will be Carter Davis (Spartanburg, S.C.), Davis Parker (Augusta, Ga.), Colt Crymes (Athens, Ga.), and Andrew Garner (Peachtree City, Ga.).

Georgia State held off Furman to win last year's team championship by a score of 892 to 898. Davidson claimed third place (903) and Louisville fourth (904). PC finished fifth (909), claiming victories over USC-Aiken, William and Mary, Richmond, Francis Marion, Radford, Samford, Ohio, Hartford, Western Carolina, De Paul, Elon, and Marshall.

A few days later on Feb. 22, the Blue Hose will also travel to a one-day invitational at Augusta State at the Forest Hills Golf Club.
