Men's Golf Travels To Kiawah Island Intercollegiate

CLINTON, S.C. - The Presbyterian College men's golf team will travel to the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate, hosted by Charleston Southern, from Oct. 27-30.

The Bucs are hosting the event at the par-71, 7,011-yard Turtle Point course located on Kiawah Island, S.C. Teams will play a practice round on Sunday before 36-holes on Monday. The third and final round will be on Tuesday morning. All 26 teams will start on the first hole with varying tee times starting as early as 7:30 a.m.

The Big South will have six teams in attendance including defending tournament champion Campbell University. Last season PC tied for tenth with a score of 924 (307, 306, 311) and were led by senior Matt Sizemore (Richmond, Va.) who tied for 28th at 228 (76, 76, 76).

Sophomore Samuel Jackson (Pelion, S.C.) has led the Blue Hose at all three fall tournaments this year and ranks 17th in the Big South stroke averages (74.00). Jackson looks to improve upon his score of 239 (79, 81, 79) and 72nd place tie last season.
