Clinton, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women’s cross country team will head to Rock Hill on Friday night to take part in the make-up for the Winthrop Adidas Invitational. The race was originally scheduled for Saturday, September 15 but was postponed because of Hurricane Florence.

Senior Sally Hart set a school record in the 5k last weekend at the Queen City Invite, finishing in 18:42. Junior Ali Bennett ran a 20:11 in her first race as a Blue Hose. Junior Denise Devaney (21:10) and freshman Julia Keen (20:26) each improved on their times from the first race of the season.

Last year at the Winthrop Adidas Invitational, Hart finished 16th with a time of 20:38. Senior Ripley Fricano clocked a time of 21:44, placing 26th.

The 5k is set to begin at 5:45 p.m.
