PINEHURST, NC – The Presbyterian College women’s golf team is tied for 16th after two rounds of the 2017 Pinehurst Challenge hosted by the College of Charleston at the No. 1 course at the Pinehurst Resort (par-72, 5,974 yards).

Celia Mansour shot a team-best 71 (-1) during Monday's second round to move into a tie for 40th at 146 (75, 71). Ann Elizabeth Gore shot a collegiate-best 72 (E) during the opening round and ended the day tied for 48th at 148 (72, 76). Maiken Bing Paulsen improved to a 65th place tie at 151 (78, 73). Serina Combs shot 154 (76, 78) to tie for 77th. Rylie Marchman bounced back to shoot 162 (86, 76) and finish the day tied for 96th.

East Carolina is in first place with a team score of 566 (289, 277). Coastal Carolina’s Malene Krolboll Hansen sits in first place at 135 (-9).

The final round will tee off on Tuesday morning with a shotgun start beginning at 8:30 am. Fans can follow along via Golfstat’s live scoring feature.
