Clinton, S.C. – Presbyterian College and head men's soccer coach Jonathan Potter are excited to announce the signing of 15 players who are joining the Blue Hose for the fall of 2017. The signees consist of one goalie, one midfielder, six forwards and seven defenders.

“We are excited to announce our 2017 recruiting class,” said Coach Potter. “We feel these young men have the right character, work-ethic and hunger to succeed and to keep moving this program forward. I want to thank assistant coach (Flo) Liu for his hard work in the formation of this recruiting class. These student-athletes come with Youth National Team, US Soccer Development Academy Playoff, and US Youth Soccer Regional Championship experience and academically feature 10 students above a 3.5 GPA. We are delighted these student-athletes and families have joined the Presbyterian College community. Our players and staff look forward to the work ahead this fall.”

Chris Amond – 5'8” – 145lb - Defender – Simpsonville, S.C. – Carolina Elite Soccer Academy

Bio: Amond played for Coach Nick Finotti with CESA 98 Premier and won South Carolina State Cup in 2016 and the Region III Championship in 2015 … He was a member of South Carolina ODP … South Carolina AAAA High School Champions in 2015 with JL Mann High School … Member of National Honors Society and lettered in academics in 2015 and 2016.

Bio: Played for Coach Cristobal Parralo at C.F Damm … Champion of Spain with Catalonia's National Team in 2013 … Spent time at Blackburn Rovers, Valencia and C.F. Damm academy while finishing ahead of Spanish giant F.C. Barcelona in the league.

Jamison Ingram – 5'10” – 170lb – Defender – Tallahassee, Fla. – Jacksonville Armada FC

Bio: Played for Coach Joey Barrett at Jacksonville Armada FC … First Team All-Big Bend at Lincoln High School and selected to Florida Athletic Coaches Association North All-Star Team … Earned MVP in FACA Senior All Star Game … Was a consistent starter with IMG U.S. Soccer Development Academy U16 Team that qualified for 2016 USSDA Playoffs.

Bio: Played for Coach Mathias Solstad at Baerum SK … Scored 14 goals in all competition this season … Played three years for Norwegian College of Elite Sports and spent time at Stabaek before joining Baerum SK … Won Norwegian Junior Championships twice.
