Presbyterian College and head coach Kasay Holbrook announced the 2017 fall schedule for the women's golf team. The team will travel to five fall tournaments consisting of three familiar events and two new additions.
The women's golf team will first compete at the Golfweek Program Championship at the Caledonia GC on September 10 on Pawley's Island, S.C. Then, on September 25, PC will return to compete at the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate at the Greenville CC in Greenville, N.C.
October will see the Blue Hose competing in three tournaments, starting with the 2017 Pinehurst Challenge (Pinehurst #1) on October 9, then the 2017 Bill Berg Invitational (The Ridges GC) on October 16 and finally the Terrier Intercollegiate (CC of Spartanburg) on October 23.
"Our strength of schedule will increase this year with the addition of the GolfWeek Program Challenge and the Pinehurst Challenge," Holbrook said. "We are excited to be able to play in these events and look forward to competing against some great teams this fall."
The women's golf team had its best finish (4th) at the Big South Championship last season and saw Celia Mansour win individual medalist honors with a tournament and school record of 207 (-9).
