CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men’s tennis team is back in conference play this weekend, hosting Campbell on Saturday at noon at the Templeton Tennis Courts in Clinton, S.C.

PC enters the match with a 7-9 overall record and a 1-0 mark in Big South matches. Campbell brings a 12-2 record and 3-0 mark in Big South play with it to Clinton, having won its last three matches, all against Big South foes. The Blue Hose came away with a win in the last meeting, taking a 5-2 victory at Campbell last season.

Seniors Ben Kelley and Joel Roberts continue to pace the Blue Hose in both singles and doubles. Kelley sits at 11-3 on the year in singles action, while Roberts has compiled an 8-5 mark. The two have compiled a 10-5 record in doubles as PC’s top pairing.

As a team, PC has consistently found a way to take the doubles point, winning it 10 times in 16 matches as compared to just 13 times in 30 matches a year ago. In addition to the strong play of Kelly and Roberts, Diego Manzanas and Jaime Castillo-Lopez have combined for a 10-5 record, followed by Brandon Mills and Alexander Lykou with an 8-3 mark, primarily at No. 2.
