CLINTON, S.C.- The Presbyterian College women's tennis team has signed Celine Schepers (Schiplaken, Belgium) to join the program for the 2015-16 season, head coach Catherine Dunagan announced today.

Schepers will join the incoming class of Tracy Johnson and Nicole Croxton, who signed with the team earlier in the year. 

The right-handed player out of Don Bosco Haacht ended the 2014 season with a national ranking of 63 among all Belguim women. She sit at 32 in the Belgian Circut ranking and has climbed up 100 places in the last two years. Schepers has won the Fair Play trophy three times and placed first at Regionals-18 and second place at Nationals U12 and U14. 

The daughter of Luc Schepers and Marianne Pissens is No. 2 in her graduating class and says she hopes to improve as a tennis player and become the best overall person she can be next year at PC. She credits her parents as her biggest athletic influence for always driving her to practice and supporting her at every match and tournament. She also credits her coach Sonny for making her into the tennis player she is today.
