Lauren Korte is in her second year as an intern athletic trainer covering volleyball and men's and women's tennis.

She comes to PC after serving as a graduate assistant with South Dakota's sports medicine department. There, she assisted with football and was the primary athletic trainer for softball, volleyball and swimming and diving.

Korte earned a bachelor of science degree in athletic training with a minor in kinesiology at Lincoln Memorial in 2008. She earned her master's in health, physical education and recreation with a concentration in exercise science and athletic administration at South Dakota.

Korte is a native of Port Saint Lucie, Fla.
