Clinton, S.C. – Presbyterian College and head coach Thomas Addison released the 2018-19 men’s golf schedule on Monday. The team will compete in five fall tournaments and six spring tournaments.

“We are very excited about our upcoming season’s schedule,” said Coach Addison. “A majority of the events are very familiar to our program. However, we are going to a few new tournaments that will have strong fields and great venues.”

The fall opens with a trip to the Golfweek Championship held at the True Blood GC in Myrtle Beach, S.C., from September 8-11. The event was rained out last season.

“In October, after many years without a home event, we will be hosting The Musgrove Mill Intercollegiate that will be attached to The Tommy Addison Memorial College-Am for alumni and friends.”

The Blue Hose will host the Musgrove Mill Intercollegiate for the first time since February 2007. The 54-hole event will be October 7-9 at the Musgrove Mill GC.

The fall concludes with return trips to the Elon Phoenix Invitational, the Palmetto Collegiate and Kiawah Island Intercollegiate. Elon will host their event at the Alamance CC from October 14-16. Furman will host the Palmetto Collegiate at the Camden CC from October 19-21. Charleston Southern will host the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate at the Turtle Point GC from November 3-6.

The spring schedule sees five familiar courses with the Wexford Intercollegiate, Cleveland Golf Palmetto Invitational, Furman Invitational and Big South Championship. Their trip to the ECU Intercollegiate is a new addition to the schedule.

Francis Marion is hosting the Wexford Intercollegiate at the Wexford Plantation from February 24-26.

Then, East Carolina will host the ECU Intercollegiate at the Brook Valley CC in Greenville, N.C., from March 3-5. USC-Aiken will host its annual Cleveland Golf Palmetto Invitational at the Palmetto GC from March 10-12. The 50th Annual Furman Invitational will be at the Furman GC from March 21-24. The month ends with a trip to the Wofford Invitational at the Spartanburg CC from March 31-April 2.

The Big South Championship will return to The Patriot GC in Ninety Six, S.C. for the 14th time in 15 years and is to be held from April 17-20.

“I am looking forward to this season and our schedule as we welcome three new golfers to the team and return eight upperclassmen.”
