Personal: She doesn't think there has been any one single influence in her athletics career so far, but would say all of her coaches combined. The ones that scream, the ones that are silent, the ones that became friends, the ones that she was happy to not have coach me anymore, the ones that spoke English and those that didn't, the ones that she cried because of, the ones that made her want to yell, the ones that cared a lot and the ones that didn't seem to care at all - she learned so much from all of them and is a better player because of each of them… Chose PC because of the campus and the people, it just feels “right”, everything she is looking for in a college… Undetermined on a major… Daughter of Trey and Jen Newton.
