CAMDEN, SC - The Presbyterian College men's golf team improved to finish sixth at the Palmetto Collegiate with a team score of 871 (292, 283, 296) on Sunday. Cole Patterson tied for 11th to lead PC at the Camden CC (par-70, 6,455 yards).
Patterson (t11) shot a collegiate-best 212 (73, 69, 70) on the par-70 course. It was a two-stroke improvement over his previous best of +4 from the 2017 Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate.
Josh Taylor (t31) shot 219 (69, 74, 76). Ben Pirro (t42) was one off his collegiate best at 221 (77, 68, 76), while Haydon Norwood (t47) improved his collegiate-best to 223 (74, 75, 73). Carson Spears (t51) shot 224 (76, 72, 76).
The host Gamecocks finished first with a team score of 841. George Washington's Logan Lowe won medalist honors at 206 (-4).
The Blue Hose will return to play in their final fall tournament, the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate, from October 28-31.
